LT Type High Performance Wafer Butterfly Valve Cast Iron Zero Leakage
Structure:
A wafer butterfly valve consists of a round or disc-shaped body
with a central opening and a disc or butterfly-shaped closure
element inside the body. The closure element, known as the
butterfly disc or wafer, is connected to a shaft or stem that
extends outside the valve body. The valve body has flanges on both
sides for easy installation between pipe flanges.
Operation:
The wafer butterfly valve operates by rotating the disc or
butterfly element within the flow path. When the disc is in a
closed position, it blocks the flow completely, and when fully
open, it allows maximum flow through the valve. The disc can be
positioned anywhere in between to regulate the flow rate.

Note:
DN50(2”)-600(24”) "LT" type butterfly valve is suitable for two
pressure levels: PN1.0/PN1.6MPa. There are two sizes in each grid
in the table, indicating PN1.0/PN1.6MPa respectively. For pressure
level connection dimensions, the pipe flange connection dimensions
connected to the valve refer to the flange connection dimension
table. The upper flange of the butterfly valve can be universally
used for manual, worm gear, electric, pneumatic and other
transmission devices.
The structure, performance, and materials of parts of the "LT" type butterfly valve are the same as those of the "A" type. The difference is that the "A" type can be centrally connected between two pipe flanges through stud bolts (or extended hexagonal bolts) (i.e. clip-on type).
In addition to being connected between two pipelines through two
ordinary hexagonal bolts, the "LT" type can also be installed on
the pipe end (i.e. single clamp type) and used as a drain valve,
but the use of the pipe end must be specified in the order
contract.
The flange connection dimensions comply with G4216, DIN2501, BS4504, BS10-E, JSB2220, AS2129.ANSIB16, and other standards, and must be specified by the user in the contract.
